Capturing Love at Forest Park: Ana’s Dreamy Engagement Session

There's something magical about engagement sessions, especially when they take place in a location as beautiful as Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri. Recently, I had the pleasure of helping Ana plan her engagement photoshoot, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience full of personal touches and thoughtful details.
Choosing the Perfect Dress
The first step in planning Ana’s session was finding the perfect dress- you can never go wrong with Altar'd State. Ana wanted something that not only looked stunning but also felt like “her.” After trying on a few options, we found a dress that was both elegant and comfortable, complementing the natural beauty of the park. The dress flowed perfectly in the breeze, adding a touch of romance to every shot.
Selecting the Ideal Spots in Forest Park
Forest Park offers so many picturesque locations, and we knew we wanted to make the most of it. After exploring a few different areas, we chose a mix of spots that showcased both the park’s lush greenery and its iconic architecture. Whether it was beneath the towering trees, by the serene lake, or near the beautiful pavilions, each spot added its own charm to the session.
Adding Personal Touches to the engagement session
To make the session even more special, we decided to include some personal elements. We brought along a bottle of champagne and a pair of elegant cups, which added a celebratory vibe to the photos. A cozy blanket and fresh flowers completed the scene, making the whole setup feel intimate and uniquely Ana. These details not only enhanced the aesthetic but also helped Ana and her fiancé feel relaxed and connected during the shoot.
